Kalamazoo Michigan Hotels
A family has been moved to a Kalamazoo hotel as part of a program to help families find safe housing and reduce the number of people who have gathered at the city's homeless shelter. Housing Resources Inc. (HRI) of Kalanzoo organized a campaign on Thursday, April 16 to help families living in the Kalazoo Gospel Ministries homeless shelter temporarily move to hotels. Workers helped families secure their belongings and distributed food to the group before helping them into their rooms, said Hri director Michelle Davis.
The hotel's comfortable rooms have a bed with a comfortable mattress, a comfortable chair and access to a private shower. It also features newly renovated rooms with a relaxing bed in the relaxation room suite and a fully equipped kitchen. When the work is complete, the hotel will offer a $1,000-a-night hotel room, one bedroom and two beds. On arrival, guests receive free food and drinks, as well as a free shower and bed linen.
The hotel also has a concierge service that organizes sightseeing tours of Kalamazoo. Other hotel amenities include disabled rooms, a fitness centre, an indoor pool and a spa. Hotel amenities include a full-service bar and restaurant, and access to 40 channels, including HBO movie rentals in the room safe.
Until 2021, airlines and travel agents can offer benefits such as preferential treatment and discounts or free COVID 19 vaccinations to those who can prove they are vaccinated, including free vaccinations for children under 5 and adults with disabilities. One could take an approach that offers vaccinations in a package, such as vouchers from vaccine providers like CVS or Kroger.
