Arby's is beefing up its menu with three new meaty munchies. For a limited time only, fast food fanatics across the U.S. will find slow-smoked beef short rib on two sandwiches and curly fries as part of the Smokehouse lineup.
The first and least-intimidating addition is the Beef Short Rib Sandwich, which features pulled beef short rib that's been mesquite-smoked for six hours. It's topped with a slice of melted cheddar, crispy onions, and smoky barbecue sauce placed between thick slices of Texas toast.
Those looking for a hunkier version of the aforementioned can order the appropriately named Smoke Mountain. This monstrous sandwich is stacked with pulled smoked beef short rib, pit-smoked ham, and brisket that's been smoked for 13 hours. It also gets melted cheddar, crispy onions, and smoky barbecue sauce on Texas Toast.
Arby's is serving up a little finger-food action, too, with the Beef Short Rib Loaded Curly Fries. The generous serving features the chain's original curly fries smothered in smoked beef short rib, shredded cheddar, melted cheddar, crispy onions, and smoky barbecue sauce.
All three items are available now; the chain has not announced when they'll disappear from menus. Even when their time is up, diners will still be able to order the Smokehouse Brisket - the longtime favorite is the only permanent menu item in the Smokehouse lineup. The sandwich, which was introduced in October 2013 and has been a menu staple ever since, is made with smoked brisket, smoked Gouda, barbecue sauce, and onion rings. It was the most successful new product in company history, too. For more trivia on the Georgia-based brand, here are 10 things you didn't know about Arby's.
